ASM Global and Caesars Superdome kicked-off 2022 by hosting two nationally televised events, back-to-back over the holiday weekend. The Allstate Sugar Bowl followed by the New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers are the first major events to take place in the stadium on two consecutive days since the COVID shutdown in March 2020, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing recovery of the sports and entertainment sector. ASM Global converted the facility within 12-hours overnight to present the two nationally televised football games, despite having to navigate challenges of the Omicron virus and labor shortages.
